The Sceye HAPS airship has established a new achievement that confirms the prospects of its concept. The aircraft took off at 7:36 on August 15 from an airfield in New Mexico, climbed to an altitude of 18,593 m and landed the next day at 12:21. All maneuvers during the day were carried out at the expense of energy accumulated by the solar panels of the airship, which proves the possibility of its autonomous operation.
