At Vladivostok Airport, visitors will be able to see the IL-114-300 regional aircraft, and at the forum site they will be able to get acquainted with the Mi—171A3 helicopter.
Rostec State Corporation will present new domestic aircraft adapted to the conditions of the Far East at the XI Eastern Economic Forum. During the WEF, the regional turboprop IL-114-300 aircraft will be seen at Vladivostok Airport, and the Mi—171A3 helicopter will be introduced at the forum site itself. It will be presented for the first time in a modification with a high-comfort cabin. Both vehicles meet one of the main transport tasks of the macroregion — ensuring transportation between territories with limited infrastructure.
Rostec United Aircraft Corporation will demonstrate a fully Russian IL-114-300 turboprop. The aircraft can carry passengers and cargo, operate from short lanes and airfields with limited infrastructure. Such opportunities are especially in demand in the Far East with its long distances and remote territories. The machine has successfully passed extreme heat and cold tests and has already received a type certificate.
Russian Helicopters Holding Company will present the domestic Mi-171A3 produced by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. For the first time, the car will be shown at the WEF with a high-comfort cabin. The aircraft is designed for long-haul flights, which is especially important for the Far East with its long distances. Additional heat, vibration and sound insulation increases the comfort of passengers in flight.
"The Far East places special demands on technology: there are huge distances, difficult geography, harsh climate and many territories where the possibilities of land transport are limited. The IL-114-300 is capable of operating at airfields with limited infrastructure, while the Mi-171A3 is capable of providing passenger and cargo transportation for hundreds of kilometers and, if necessary, performing rescue and sanitary tasks. Such equipment will help expand the transport capabilities of the regions and create the basis for the development of the route network in the Far East," said Dmitry Azarov, head of the Rostec State Corporation delegation.
In addition to aviation technology, Rostec will show developments for industry and radio electronics of the Radioelectronic Technologies Concern in Vladivostok. Also, for the first time, the Kaliningrad Amber Plant (part of the RT-Finance holding of Rostec State Corporation) will take part in the Eastern Economic Forum with rare samples of Baltic amber aged 35-40 million years, which will be included in the annual auction of the rare gem.
The XI Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok from 1 to 4 September 2026. This year's Rostec exposition was formed taking into account the specifics of the Far East — long distances, difficult geography and climatic conditions. The Forum traditionally brings together representatives of government, business, and the expert community to discuss key areas for the development of the Far East and expand cooperation with countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.
