The event was led by Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov, Commander of the Northern Fleet. The ceremony was attended by Andrey Bogomolov, USC Deputy General Director for Military Shipbuilding and Special Programs, and Sergey Karachkov, General Director of the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard.
The Polar minesweeper (serial number 530) was officially laid down at the SNSZ in St. Petersburg on June 12, 2022 and launched on April 24, 2025.
