Moscow. January 9th. INTERFAX-AVN -A Russian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has arrived in Geneva to participate in Russian-American negotiations on security guarantees, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The CSTO peacekeepers will remain in Kazakhstan until the situation is fully stabilized, said the commander of the Russian Airborne Troops, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov, who leads the contingent of CSTO peacekeepers in Kazakhstan.

In accordance with the decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the peacekeeping forces have completed deployment on the territory of Kazakhstan. This was stated on Sunday at a joint briefing in Alma-Ata by the commander of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO in Kazakhstan, Colonel-General Andrey Serdyukov.

The United States next week, as part of negotiations with Russia in Geneva, intends to discuss the malicious actions of the Russian Federation, in particular, the violation of the arms control regime, the White House reported on Wednesday.

Finnish President Sauli Niinisto said that his position on the country's membership in NATO has not changed.
