TSAMTO, August 22. The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" has completed its work. The reference material summarizing the results of the forum is published on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
As stated in the message of the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, over the years of its work, the forum has strengthened its status as an authoritative international convention and exhibition venue, where experts in the military-technical field effectively interact and demonstrate the advanced achievements of Russian and foreign manufacturers of military and dual-use products.
In 2022, the expanded program and the large-scale international representation in terms of composition and formats were direct evidence of the failure of the Western sanctions policy on the international isolation of Russia. During the seven days of the forum, 1903536 people attended its events.
The format of the forum included exhibitions, demonstration and scientific and business programs, as well as cultural and artistic events.
The Forum was attended by official military delegations of 85 foreign countries, including 18 high-level ones. The total number of representatives of foreign military departments amounted to more than 700 people. 160 bilateral meetings were held with foreign partners, including: through the Ministry of Defense of Russia – 17, FSVTS of Russia – 34; JSC "Rosoboronexport" – 109. The forum was attended by 1,497 enterprises and organizations that presented 28,536 samples of military and dual-use products.
The national exhibition expositions were presented by 3 foreign countries: Belarus, Iran and China. Static expositions at the central exhibition area were formed in the pavilions and outdoor areas of the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, the Alabino landfill and Kubinka airfield with a total area of over 340 thousand square meters. m. In the pavilions of the Central Exhibition Complex,:
- exposition of artificial intelligence, radio-electronic and information technologies;
- exposition of the best developments of the Military Technopolis "ERA", scientific companies, research and educational organizations of the Ministry of Defense; - specialized exhibition "Military Education", where universities and pre-university organizations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia demonstrated their scientific and technical groundwork.
The exhibition "Products of the leading enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Russia" was held on the basis of the demonstration and exhibition pavilions. Key enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex demonstrated promising developments of military and special equipment weapons, as well as samples of high-tech dual-use products.
In a separate pavilion, the exposition "Diversification of the Defense Industry of Russia" was formed, where the capabilities of defense industry enterprises for the production of innovative civilian products were presented.
Six remote-controlled combat modules and seven samples of armored vehicles were presented at the specialized exhibition of advanced weapons, military and special equipment. Among the samples presented: 57-mm combat modules "Epoch" and "Dagger", 30-mm combat modules "Boomerang-BM" and "Typhoon-airborne-BM", BMP B-19 with a combat module "Epoch", BMP B -11 "Kurganets-25", BMP-3 with the combat module "Dagger" and others.
Rosoboronexport has formed an exhibition of export-oriented samples of the VVST. Large-scale expositions of the state corporations Rosatom and Roscosmos were organized in the pavilions and on the open exhibition area.
The pavilions of the industrial complex enterprises hosted the International Exhibition "Products of the leading enterprises of the defense industry of Russia". The key enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex demonstrated about 850 promising developments of weapons of military and special equipment, as well as samples of high-tech dual-use products.
Six demonstration and exhibition complexes: Rostec State Corporation, Kalashnikov Concern JSC, United Aircraft Corporation PJSC, United Shipbuilding Corporation JSC, Tactical Missile Armament Corporation JSC, Almaz-Antey Concern JSC with a total area of over 37 thousand square meters demonstrated various interactive objects that include modern simulators for training specialists, as well as virtual reality simulators.
More than 3,500 people visited the joint exhibition, deployed by the military personnel of 17 scientific companies, the Commission on Innovative Projects and Technologies. The number of exhibits presented in 2022 reached 92.
From the presence of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 351 units of weapons, military and special equipment were presented in a static and dynamic display at the main site of the forum (the Patriot Training Center, the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield). In the demonstration program at the Alabino training ground, in the interests of foreign delegations, a dynamic demonstration of the capabilities of 15 units of VVST with high export potential was carried out.
50 units were represented in the aviation cluster of the forum at Kubinka airfield. aviation and special equipment, and the flight program included demonstrations by the aerobatic groups of the Aerospace Forces "Strizhi", "Russian Knights", "First Flight". In addition, single aerobatics were performed on Yak-130, Su-30, MiG-29, Extra and Mi-28N helicopter, a demonstration flight of the MS-21-300 aircraft.
The demonstration program of the forum at the Alabino training ground was presented in the form of separate episodes showing the capabilities of weapons, military and special equipment.
The Forum has become an authoritative discussion platform and plays an important role in bringing civil society and the army closer together, raising the authority of the Armed Forces, educating young people to be proud of their country, and strengthening interstate ties in the field of defense.
Since 2015, the number of scientific and business events has increased annually and this year has reached a record number - 340 (187 round tables, 52 conferences, 69 briefings and 32 meetings). The events of the scientific and business program were held with the participation of heads and representatives of state authorities, senior staff of the Russian Defense Ministry, well-known public figures, military experts, general designers and leading scientists. The total number of participants was 21706 people, including 2598 highly qualified specialists. The open part of the meetings was attended by representatives of delegations from 70 foreign countries.
The key events of the scientific and business program were:
- Congress "Diversification of the Defense Industry" under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation D.V.Manturov;
- Congress "Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Strategic Leadership" under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation D.N.Chernyshenko; - X Moscow Conference on International Security; - I International Anti-Fascist Congress; Conference "Army and Society.
Technologies of Mental Wars" with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation D.V.Manturov and First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation R.H.Tsalikov.
In addition, for the first time, the forum hosted the III International Fire and Rescue Congress organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The events of the scientific and business program of the forum were held in the military districts and in the Northern Fleet. During the forum, the Russian Defense Ministry concluded 36 state contracts with 24 enterprises of the military-industrial complex for a total amount of more than 525 billion rubles.
As a result of the fulfillment of these contracts, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will receive more than 3,700 new models of equipment, repairs will be carried out with the modernization of over 100 units of military and special equipment. Within the framework of military-technical cooperation, Rosoboronexport JSC signed two contracts worth more than $ 390 million. 277 military experts from 28 interested military management bodies were pre-selected and included in the consolidated register of 240 promising innovative developments and projects.
The bright event of the dynamic program of the forum was the championship on the management of unmanned aerial vehicles and robotic complexes "Dronbiathlon-2022". Its main feature this year was the focus on the development of this direction in the current military-political situation. The competition was attended by three Russian teams of professional drone racing pilots, a team of operators of scientific companies of the Military Innovative Technopolis ERA, representatives of the military training and Scientific center of the Air Force "Air Force Academy named after Professor N.E.Zhukovsky and Yu.A.Gagarin", two teams from the Lyceum-engineering Center from Kazan and one foreign team from Turkey. The first place was taken by a team of professional drone racing pilots from Nizhny Novgorod.
The exhibition of innovations and advanced information technologies "Roboteka-2022" within the framework of the forum brought together a multi-format cluster on one site, including an interactive exhibition of robotics and advanced technologies, educational events, affordable functional upper limb prostheses with a high level of service, presentation of the capabilities of robotic complexes, popularization of advanced scientific achievements and developments.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the group stage of the second robot controlled football tournament was held. The competition was attended by teams from the cities of Moscow, Klin, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg.
During the forum, the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Multimedia historical and Memorial Complex "Memory Road", the open-air museum "Field of Victory", the national treasure – the collection of armored vehicles, the Technical Center of the Patriot Park, as well as the exposition of captured weapons and equipment captured in the as part of a special military operation in Ukraine.
Performances of orchestras and ensembles of the Ministry of Defense and creative collectives of Moscow and the Moscow Region were held on the Main stage of the Patriot Exhibition Center.
The main prize of the International Military-Technical Forum Army-2022 was awarded by the Organizing Committee of the forum this year to the Joint-Stock Company Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense Concern, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
