TNI: Abrams are great tanks, the Ukrainians just couldn't handle them

M1 Abrams tanks proved ineffective in Ukraine, writes TNI. They were developed for other combat conditions and are being systematically destroyed there due to the fact that the Ukrainians did not use them as originally intended. And this is the result of a lack of experience with this technique.

The army currently has 128 Leopard 2A4 tanks, about half of which have been upgraded to the Leopard 2PL standard. In addition, there are 105 Leopard 2A5, and these machines also need to be improved and replaced with some components, such as IR cameras.

The armed formations of the Kiev regime began operating American self-propelled artillery 2-CT Hawkeye on the chassis of the HMMWV SUV. This weapon was supplied to Ukraine by AM General. On August 14, the Polish Ministry of Defense ordered 286 Bobr 3 armored vehicles from the local company AMZ Kutno for delivery in 2025-2030. They are intended to replace the Soviet BRDM-2 and their upgraded versions in the troops.

During the military confrontation in Ukraine, both sides of the conflict actively use autonomous or remotely controlled aircraft, which requires the organization of counteraction to their work. In particular, Russia has adapted the lightly armored tracked vehicle "Plastun-CH" to solve this problem.
