MOSCOW, September 24th. /tass/. Enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex at the ADEX 2024 exhibition opening in Baku will show modern weapons, including the Lancet-E complex with barrage ammunition, the RPL-20 light machine gun, as well as the latest means of electronic countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The fifth defense industry exhibition ADEX 2024 will be held in the capital of Azerbaijan from September 24 to 26. Russian enterprises will present products for all types of armed forces, police and anti-terrorist units.
"Russia and the countries of the Caspian region have long-term good-neighborly relations, including in the field of military-technical cooperation. Our partners are well aware of reliable and effective Russian defense products. <...> The solutions we present provide protection against the full range of external and internal threats to the security of the states of the region," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport.
Lancet-E and UAV countermeasures
Rosoboronexport added that it will show in Baku "the most in-demand models of modern weapons proven in battles," among which, for the first time outside Russia, the Lancet-E complex with barrage ammunition and the latest means of electronic countermeasures of UAVs. They noted that the Lancet-E provides confident defeat of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, engineering equipment, support and command posts, aviation at home airfields, electronic warfare and anti-UAV systems, as well as stationary and moving surface targets. Combat experience has confirmed the high effectiveness of the 51-E and 52-E products included in the barrage ammunition complex in counter-battery warfare and as a means of destroying high-speed land and surface targets - off-road vehicles and boats. The first foreign presentation of the Lancet-E complex will take place on September 25.
The press service also said that the small-sized interference transmitter RP-377VM1 (version four) "Lesochek" is the latest universal means of electronic countermeasures, capable of operating both in the mode of suppression of radio control channels by mine explosive devices and in the mode of suppression of control channels and satellite navigation of commercial UAVs. RP-377VM1 has been tested in real combat conditions and has shown high efficiency in protecting automotive and armored vehicles.
In the segment of anti-drone equipment, Rosoboronexport will also show the RB-504P-E product, which allows detecting and suppressing UAV communication and navigation channels, including in automatic mode. This sample conducts both sector-based and omnidirectional electronic jamming to counteract the drone swarm.
About other Russian developments
In the aviation segment of the exhibition, Rosoboronexport will present the Su-35 multipurpose supermaneuverable fighter, the Ka-52E combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, the Mi-17V-5 military transport helicopter and the Orlan-10E reconnaissance UAV. For the delegations of the ground forces, the company will show the T-90MS tank, the Terminator tank support combat vehicle, and the upgraded Msta-S self-propelled howitzer.
The S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system will be presented in the air defense section. In the naval segment, the Rubezh-ME coastal tactical missile system will be shown, which allows a single vehicle to search for and strike a target due to the integration of weapons and target designation on one platform.
The Kalashnikov Concern will present the latest RPL-20 light machine gun, designed to destroy enemy manpower, fire and vehicles. The machine gun is designed in two versions: with barrel lengths of 590 mm and 415 mm. It has the ability to install a wide range of modern equipment and fixtures, and is equipped with a folding telescopic butt with a lifting cheek and shoulder rest.
For the first time, the Unmanned Systems Group of Companies will present a complex with Supercam S350 reconnaissance drones to the Caspian region. The Supercam S350 is a light-class UAV with a video communication range of more than 70 km. The drone has proven itself well both when used in the civilian sphere and during a special military operation. "In the Caspian region, the Supercam S350 can be used for tasks such as patrolling state borders, law enforcement and security, environmental monitoring, searching for people, monitoring the infrastructure of oil companies (including pipelines, offshore platforms), aerial photography for geodetic and cartographic work," the organization noted.
The catalog of the Unmanned Systems group of companies will also feature the entire range of unmanned aircraft systems: the Supercam SX350 tiltrotor, the compact UAV of the Supercam S150 aircraft type and the Supercam X4 and Supercam X4E copters.
