The Pentagon announced the dispatch of the first Bradley BMP to Ukraine in January 2023. A year and a half later, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took care to strengthen the protection of American armored vehicles, having lost a significant part of their fleet in clashes with the Russian army.

As indicated in the Western press, faced with the growing threat from UAVs, especially FPV drones, Ukrainian soldiers are considering equipping their Bradleys with anti-drone frameworks.
It is noted that since the beginning of the conflict, Ukraine has received more than 300 Bradleys [although a larger number is called], of which about 100 were deployed to the 47th OMBR. Images have been published online showing sketches of these IFVs with an overall lattice structure installed on them, completely covering the tower and part of the sides.

This project, if implemented, will lead to an increase in the height of the IFV, but will retain its ability to fire at 360° and ensure the protection of weapons and equipment placed on the tower.
