From the bmpd side, we indicate that the first military transport aircraft Il-76MD-90A, built by the Russian Aerospace Forces, was transferred to the 235th Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the 18th Military Transport Aviation Division of the Military Transport Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, based at the factory airfield of Aviastar-SP Ulyanovsk-Vostochny JSC. in 2022, Aviastar-SP will receive a board with the factory number 0208 (registration number RF-78663). This aircraft was pumped out of the workshop in mid-January 2022.and made the first flight in Ulyanovsk on March 16, 2022. This aircraft became the ninth IL-76MD-90A in the 235th Military Transport Aviation Regiment.
This is the third Id-76MD-90A aircraft built on the new production line of the assembly of the PLC-76, which was put into operation at Aviastar-SP in October 2019. Work on the installation of the PLC-76 line at Aviastar-SP has been carried out since the fall of 2016 in a workshop whose length is 500 m and width is 100 m. The design and technological testing of the assembly of products on the PLC-76 takes place on three serial Il-76MD-90A aircraft with factory numbers 0206, 0207 and 0208, the first two of them were completed and commissioned by the Russian Aerospace Forces in 2021. It is assumed that on the production line of the assembly of the PLC-76 in the future it will be possible to ensure the rate of construction of up to 12 Il-76MD-90A aircraft per year.
The IL-76MD-90A aircraft with factory number 0208 (registration number RF-78663) became the tenth aircraft built by Aviastar-SP JSC in Ulyanovsk under a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense dated October 2012 for the production of 39 Il-76MD-90A units worth 139.42 billion rubles.
The first IL-76MD-90A aircraft, for the Russian Ministry of Defense under a 2012 contract with serial number 0108 (registration number RF-78654), was built at Aviastar-SP more than four years ago and was first flown there on December 15, 2015, and entered the 610th on January 17, 2016 The Center for Combat Use and Retraining of flight personnel of Military Transport aviation named after Marshal of Aviation N. S. Skripko in Ivanovo.
The second and third IL-76MD-90A aircraft under the 2012 contract were built by Aviastar-SP in 2018 and delivered to the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the first half of 2019 - boards with serial numbers 0109 (registration number RF-78655, made its first flight in Ulyanovsk on November 7, 2018 and was transferred to the Russian Aerospace Forces April 2, 2019) and 0110 (registration number RF-78656, made its first flight on December 22, 2018, transferred to the VKS on May 16, 2019). Both of these aircraft became part of the 235th Military Transport Aviation Regiment formed at the end of 2017, based at the Aviastar-SP Ulyanovsk-Vostochny factory airfield, becoming the first two Il-76MD-90A to enter the linear part of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The same regiment then received the only new Il-76MD-90A aircraft built in 2019 (the fourth under this contract) - a board with the factory number 0202 (registration number RF-78657), lifted into the air on June 13, 2019 and transferred to the Russian Aerospace Forces on August 30, 2019.
In 2020, Aviastar-SP launched three new Il-76MD-90A aircraft (the fifth, sixth and seventh under this contract). On March 17, 2020, an Il-76MD-90A aircraft with factory number 0203 (registration number RF-78658, name "Heinrich Novozhilov") made its first flight at the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny factory airfield complex, on August 26 - the second aircraft with factory number 0204 (registration number RF-78659, in August 2021 received the name "Nikolay Makarovets"), and on December 6, 2020 - the third aircraft with the factory number 0205 (registration number RF-78660). All three of these boards were transferred To the Ministry of Defense of Russia only on January 29, 2021, also becoming part of the 235th Military transport Aviation Regiment.
In 2021, Aviastar-SP took into the air only two new Il-76MD-90A aircraft (the eighth and ninth under this contract), which were handed over to the Ministry of Defense of Russia in September and December 2021 and also became part of the 235th Military Transport Aviation Regiment - board with factory numbers 0206 (registration number RF-78661, first flight in Ulyanovsk on June 10, 2021) and 0207 (registration number RF-78662, first flight on October 4, 2021). They became the first two aircraft built on the production line of the assembly of the PLC-76.
Earlier, Aviastar-SP, under a contract dated November 2011, JSC UAC - Transport Aircraft built three Il-76MD-90A aircraft of the installation batch with serial numbers 0103, 0104, 0105 in 2014-2015. The first two of them were transferred to PJSC "Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev" (TANTK) to create special-purpose vehicles on their basis, and the aircraft with serial number 0105 was also transferred to the 610th Central Air Transport Control Station in Ivanovo on December 3, 2015.
In addition, Aviastar-SP also built the first prototype of the IL-78M-90A tanker aircraft (serial number 0201, registration number RF-78741), developed by PJSC Il on the basis of the Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft and made its first flight in Ulyanovsk on January 19, 2018. However, after 11 months of improvements, only on December 27, 2018, the first Il-78M-90A prototype made its fourth test flight, officially credited as the first under the factory flight test program. This aircraft continues to be at the testing stage.
Thus, to date, the Aviastar-SP plant has built a total of 14 copies (including a prototype) of the Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft and one prototype of the Il-78M-90A tanker aircraft.
In May 2020, it became known that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation had renegotiated a contract with Aviastar-SP JSC for the supply of Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft on new terms. Under the new conditions, under the old contract of 2012, the plant should now hand over a total of 13 Il-76MD-90A aircraft (of which ten have been built in this way to date), and from 2021 a new contract for the supply of 14 such aircraft by 2028 was to come into force.
Transferred to the 235th Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the 18th Military Transport Aviation Division of the Military Transport Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the first Il-76MD military transport aircraft built in 2022 at Aviastar-SP JSC (part of the Transport Aviation Division of United Aircraft Corporation JSC) in Ulyanovsk -90A (factory number 0208, registration number RF-78663).
