Eyewitnesses noticed models of the Russian T-72 tank and the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the United States. The equipment can be used to simulate the actions of a potential enemy during exercises, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The publication notes that the pictures show a mock-up of the 5P85C launcher from the S-300 complex. The MAZ-543M wheeled chassis car was developed in 1983. The layout received pixel camouflage, which is used in the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA). The publication emphasizes that China uses the S-300PMU1, S-300PMU2 and S-400 complexes.
Also, a mock-up of the T-72 tank was noticed in the column. The location of the dynamic protection units indicates an attempt to simulate tanks of several modifications. Models of the tank and ZRS received a wheeled chassis that allows you to transport models.
Earlier, models of American F-35 Lightning II fighters were noticed in China. Four models were found on satellite images of the PLA missile test site in Xinjiang. Planes can be used as targets for ballistic missiles, writes the South China Morning Post.
In October, the British military showed a mock-up of the Russian infantry fighting vehicle BMP-3. The mobile target was built on the basis of a Toyota Hilux pickup truck. The layout repeats the dimensions and design features of the BMP-3.
