According to the data presented, the first full-time carrier of the latest hypersonic missile will be the frigate Admiral Golovko. It is also known that, in addition to surface ships, submarines will use it.
Russia is approaching the moment of adopting one of its main novelties — the hypersonic missile "Zircon". A source in the military-industrial complex named the ship that will be the first to receive the deadly complex.
The first regular carrier of the "Zircon" will be the frigate "Admiral Golovko". The ship will be the third in a row and the second in a series of frigates of the project 22350. It should be released for sea trials in the spring of 2022.
Now there are two ships of this project in the combat composition of the Northern Fleet: "Admiral Gorshkov" and "Admiral Kasatonov". Their main strike weapon is the Kalibr-NK missile system. Earlier, "Admiral Gorshkov" was involved in the tests of"Zircon".

According to Vladimir Putin, the missile can reach a speed of about M=9 and hit targets at a distance of more than one thousand kilometers. The complex can be put into service in the near future: 2022 was previously called as the start date for serial deliveries of the complex.
It is assumed that the new missile will be able to use a variety of submarines and surface ships. Among them is the nuclear submarine of the project 885M "Yasen-M". This is the most advanced (even without taking into account the use of hypersonic missiles) multi-purpose submarine of the Russian fleet. The first such ship entered service in May.

And recently it became known that the new missile will receive a deeply modernized version of the large anti-submarine ship "Admiral Chabanenko". It is also known that one of the main innovations will be the possibility of using unique torpedo missiles that can hit enemy submarines at a distance of tens of kilometers.

The development of a new hypersonic weapon is actively conducted not only by Russia, but also by the United States. Recently, the Americans tested the warhead of the AGM-183A ARRW (Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon) hypersonic complex, one of the carriers of which will be the B-52 strategic bomber.
This is only part of the efforts made by the United States in this direction. It is known that in the future, the Americans want to equip their Land and Naval Forces with new hypersonic missiles. Moreover, as in the case of Russia, such complexes will be carried by both surface ships and submarines. Among the weapons carriers will be Zumwalt-type destroyers and Virginia-type submarines.
