According to the Ministry of Defense, 110 official military delegations and enterprises of foreign countries are planning to take part in the event
PATRIOT PARK /Moscow region/, August 12. /tass/. The International military-Technical Forum "Army-2024" opened at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center. About 1.5 thousand leading Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex will present their products. The events will be held from 12 to 14 August.
It follows from the materials of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation that 110 official military delegations and enterprises of foreign countries plan to take part in the forum - 191 bilateral meetings with foreign partners are planned. The scientific and business program of the forum includes about 100 events related to the development of the Russian armed forces and the military-industrial complex.
Initially, it was planned that the "Army-2024" would last a week - from August 12 to 18. However, in July, the organizers announced that the forum would be held from August 12 to 14. The first day of the Army-2024 will be held in closed mode, the second and third days of work of specialists are planned - they can be visited with business tickets.
Rosoboronexport products
In 2024, the exhibition area of the forum will occupy about 160 thousand square meters, where more than 28 thousand samples of military and dual-use products will be presented.
Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec State Corporation) informed TASS that the company plans to demonstrate more than 700 product samples to the forum guests, including the newest Lancet-E complex with two different carriers of guided munitions, the Kub-E guided ammunition complex, and the upgraded SPTP 2S25M Sprut light tank" and the MGTT-LB robotic multi-purpose tracked tractor transporter.
In addition, Rosoboronexport will show the latest means of detecting and electronic suppression of drones, as well as a layered system based on modern radar stations, automated control systems and air defense systems of various ranges. In addition, guided munitions Krasnopol-M2 and Kitolov-2M will be exhibited at the forum.
At sea and in the air
For the first time, the United Shipbuilding Corporation will show at the forum a new non-nuclear attack submarine of the Amur 950 project with vertical missile launchers. In addition, a line of autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicles will be presented, some of which will be shown at the forum for the first time. According to TASS in the Northern Design Bureau, three export-oriented projects will be presented at Army 2024 - the multipurpose frigate 22356, an upgraded version of the frigate 11356, and the medium amphibious assault ship project 21810.
Boris Obnosov, head of the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation (KTRV), told TASS that KTRV presents the most modern samples of high-precision weapons at Army 2024.
The Russian design bureau Oko, specializing in kamikaze drones of the airplane type, will also present several new products at the forum. Among other things, a modified version of the Hi-82-Hi-82MK2 kamikaze drone with an instrument takeoff function will be shown. Another novelty from the bureau will be the Hi-82XL heavyweight drone with a warhead up to 10 kg, which will allow you to deliver sensitive blows to the enemy deep in the front.
The Unmanned Systems Group of Companies will show its main and most in-demand products at Army 2024. Among them is an upgraded version of the flagship complex with Supercam S350 unmanned aerial vehicles, which proved itself well during the special operation; a modification of the S350 in the form of a Supercam SX350 tiltrotor; a compact UAV of the Supercam S150 line; a copter-type UAV - Supercam X4.
Space developments
Participants and guests of the forum will be able to visit the joint exposition of Roscosmos and enterprises of the rocket and space industry. So, at the Reshetnev stand, it will be possible to see spacecraft created in the interests of the federal Sphere project - in particular, the Marathon satellite for the Internet of Things and the Express-RV communication device.
The Rocket and Space Corporation Energia will present a mock-up of a promising Russian orbital station in its full configuration, including a mock-up of a commercial module. A layout of the DM type upper stage will also be presented. The Khrunichev Center will show models of Angara launch vehicles at the forum: light Angara-1.2, medium Angara-A3 and heavy Angara-A5. The continuation of the conversion program will be represented by a mock-up of the Rokot-M rocket.
Scientific and Production Center of Automation and Instrumentation named after academician N. A. Pilyugina will demonstrate a mock-up of a control system for a small-caliber aerodynamic object complete with a test stand, a Finist aerial reconnaissance complex based on a flying wing type UAV, an entirely import-substituted electric handwheel drive for aircraft and other samples of equipment.
In addition, Roscosmos will present at its stand a wide range of engines, both the "tsar-engine" RD-171MV manufactured by NPO Energomash, whose capacity is comparable to a large power plant, and low-thrust engines manufactured by JSC NIIMash, OKB Fakel and Kbkhimmash named after A.M. Isaev.
As TASS was informed by the private space company Stilspace, at its stand, forum guests will be able to see a 3D model of the Stilsat remote sensing satellite launched in 2024, as well as get acquainted with the information received from the device and evaluate the capabilities of the geoplatform.
