The Army-2024 forum opens in the Patriot Park near Moscow
MOSCOW, Aug 12 - RIA Novosti. The Army 2024 Forum opens at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center and will be held from August 12 to 14, 2024, with a total area of more than 340 thousand square meters.
Traditionally, samples of military products, equipment and weapons will be presented at the Army-2024 military technical forum. This year, the Army program has been reduced to three days. Despite this, the attention to the forum is still high. The exhibition is attended by holdings-manufacturers of military equipment and weapons: UAC, Russian Helicopters, UVZ, Techmash, Central Design Bureau Rubin, High-precision Complexes, Rosel, Kalashnikov and others.
The forum really demonstrates the dynamics of improving weapons during the special operation. Many samples of equipment have been created or significantly modified taking into account the acquired combat experience. Many samples of weapons, military and special equipment will be presented, which have proven themselves well in their field.
New items of the exhibition
It will be possible to see a small-sized wheeled robot "Dispatch". The drone can be used as a vehicle, a carrier of appropriate weapons systems, or as a kamikaze drone.
Tracked unmanned Mongoose vehicles in large and small modifications will be shown for the first time at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2024".
The range of electronic warfare equipment will be shown for the first time as the latest development of Roselektronika — the Meerkat portable electronic warfare system for combating mini-drones.
Aviation and UAVs
The upgraded Supercam S350M reconnaissance drone will be shown at the forum for the first time. This version of the flagship complex with Supercam S350 unmanned aerial vehicles has proven itself well during a special military operation.
The Navy
According to RIA Novosti at the Rubin Central Design Bureau, for the first time the company will present at the Army-2024 exhibition a non-nuclear submarine of the Amur 950 marine zone with vertical missile launchers.
The developer will also present for the first time at the forum the project of an uninhabited underwater station "Octavis", which is capable of charging marine drones underwater.
Rubin will present its new development at the exhibition: the autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicle (ANPA) Argus-D. This is the first Russian project of a device with a dropable payload.
Space
As the press service of Roscosmos told reporters, this year the state corporation's stand will show the Marathon broadband Internet satellite and the Express-RV communication device, which will be part of the Sphere multi-satellite grouping. The NPC SPP enterprise, which is part of Roscosmos, will show 3D models of the main precision instrument engineering systems, including for 4++ generation fighters, as well as a layout of a unique laser station to achieve high precision characteristics of the GLONASS system.
The Khrunichev Center will also show mock-ups of missiles from the light Angara-1.2 to the heavy Angara-A5, as well as the Rokot-M conversion rocket. RSC Energia will present a mock-up of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) in full configuration with a commercial module.
Mock-ups of RD-181, RD-180, RD-171MV, RD0124MS liquid rocket engines, as well as mock-ups of 11D428A-16 low-thrust mooring and orientation engines, MVSK 02 mock-up of the Ural-6000 series gas turbine power plant will be demonstrated separately. In addition, the Roscosmos stand will house models of plasma engines SPD-50M, SPD-70, SPD -100, K50-10.5 and a model of the xenon supply regulator XFC-100.
Artillery and protective equipment
Rostec reported that the serial version of the Mallow will be shown at the forum this year, only a prototype was shown to the general public at the last Army.
The "Army" will show a modified army bulletproof vest "Obereg", equipped with ceramic plates of the Br5 class. He is able to stop a bullet from a sniper rifle and has an increased armor area.
Trophies
It is expected that the captured equipment of foreign armies will also be shown at the forum. These are American and German–made Abrams and Leopard tanks, respectively, as well as Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
