TSAMTO, February 1st. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) will organize a single Russian exposition at the International Defense and Security Exhibition World Defense Show 2024 (February 4-8, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia).
"The World Defense Show is being held for the second time and has already become one of the key events for the global defense industry. Compared to 2022, the scale of the Russian exposition has doubled, and Rosoboronexport is represented at all possible exhibition venues. At the open exposition, the company will show armored vehicles for-SPN "Titan" and "Spartak", UAVs of the Orlan family. At the airfield there is an IL–76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, and in the pavilion there are the latest products for the Air Force, SV, Navy and air defense systems," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport. – We see great interest among representatives of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies of Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Middle East in the latest Russian defense products that have been tested in modern combat conditions. We are ready to offer our partners unique formats of cooperation, including localization of the production of Russian weapons and joint development of promising models."
Within the framework of the unified Russian exposition, more than 20 defense enterprises present their products, including the Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region, the Special Technology Center, Remdiesel, Rostec State Corporation and its member High-Precision Complexes, UAC and Technodinamika.
At its stand, Rosoboronexport will demonstrate modern samples of weapons and military equipment from Uralvagonzavod, Kalashnikov Concern, Vector Research Institute, Research Institute of Steel (part of Rostec State Corporation) and other Russian manufacturers.
For the ground forces, the company will show the T-90MS tank, which has confirmed its characteristics in real combat operations and is highly in demand in the Middle East, the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle with dynamic protection, the protected ZSA tactical ambulance, the Spartak and Typhoon-K armored vehicles.
The world premiere will be a demonstration of a full-scale sample of a special purpose armored vehicle Z-SpN "Titan" with a remotely controlled combat module. This MRAP class vehicle has high ballistic and mine protection. It has excellent prospects in the Middle East market, including due to the possibility of installing foreign-made combat modules on it.
As part of its exposition, Rosoboronexport will present modern equipment and weapons for special operations forces fighters. This is an integrated approach to equipment, which includes the Chukavin sniper rifle and Bespokegun Raptor and Elegance high-precision rifles, Kalashnikov assault rifles of the two hundredth series, AK-12, AK-15, AK-19 and AK-308, Lebedev compact 9 mm pistol, Kalashnikov PPK 9 mm submachine gun-20 and the KUB-E barrage ammunition.
The attention of the Air Force delegations will be attracted by the new Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, which is being demonstrated in full-scale form in Saudi Arabia for the first time, as well as modern Russian combat fighter aircraft, bombers and training vehicles. The world's best combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter Ka-52, military transport and transport-combat helicopters will be presented at the Rosoboronexport stand. In addition, Rosoboronexport will show various aviation weapons at the exhibition.
Rosoboronexport will exhibit complexes with Orlan-10E and Orlan-30 UAVs on an open static site. In the segment of UAV countermeasures, the company will demonstrate electronic suppression systems for small UAVs, including the RB-504P-E Product.
Air defense systems will be represented by a wide range of anti-aircraft missile systems and complexes of various ranges. From Almaz-Antey Concern in the segment of long–range systems - S–400 Triumph, medium- C-350E Vityaz, Viking and Buk–M2E anti-aircraft missile systems, short-range - various modifications of the Tor type air defense systems. The High-Precision Complexes holding, which is part of Rostec State Corporation, will show the Pantsir-S1, Pantsir-S1M and Pantsir-ME marine missile systems, as well as the Verba and Igla-S portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
For the Navy, Rosoboronexport will exhibit the latest autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicle "Klavesin 1RE", a hydrofoil boat "Sagaris" and a corvette of project 20382 in a new look with an integrated radar complex "Zaslon", which significantly increases the combat capabilities of the ship.
During the exhibition on February 5, Rosoboronexport specialists will hold public presentations at which they will talk about the characteristics of new products of the Russian military-industrial complex and the features of their combat use:
11:00 a.m. – "Modern Russian armored vehicles for performing a wide range of tasks on the battlefield."
13:00 – "Universal military transport platform Il-76MD-90A(E)".
February 6 at 11:00 a.m. – "T-90MS – the main battle tank of the modern battlefield."
As part of the business program of the exhibition, Rosoboronexport plans to hold talks with representatives of the military and political leadership and the business community of Saudi Arabia, as well as countries of the Middle East and North Africa. During the meetings, it is expected to discuss the further development of bilateral military-technical cooperation and joint projects on industrial partnership.
