Military personnel of the engineering unit of the Central Military District destroyed the fortified areas of the "enemy" during an exercise in Bashkortostan.
As noted in the report of the Central Military District, "according to the plan, the calculations of the Orlan drones conducted aerial reconnaissance and found long-term firing points of a conditional enemy on the way of advancing troops. The vanguard was the engineering assault units, which suppressed the IAF with dense fire and carried out the seizure of fortified buildings under the cover of armored personnel carriers BTR-80."
After the destruction of the enemy, engineers conducted a search and destruction of explosive objects using dogs, mine detectors IMP-S2 and INVU-3M "Kite".
Engineers performed mine clearance tasks in the OVR-3SH mine clearance kits. About 1 thousand servicemen took part in the exercise, more than 80 units of military and special equipment were involved.
