Russian Su-57 and Checkmate aircraft are constantly becoming the target of information stuffing and the subject of articles in which unreliable facts are indicated. This was reported " Izvestia " in the press service of the Rostec State Corporation.
Thus, representatives of the company reacted to the material of American journalists published in the magazine The National Interest. The authors of the article doubted that the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 will enter service before 2027. They cited various delays, cost overruns, as well as problems related to research and development as the reasons.
Rostec noted that these statements have nothing to do with reality. "And now: the "reasons" for which the Russian army allegedly will never receive the Su-57 are being analyzed. And this despite the fact that the aircraft is already mass-produced and delivered! More than 70 aircraft will be delivered by 2027, including several this year," the press service of the state corporation noted.
Earlier, 19FortyFive wrote that the Su-57 fighter is inferior to American and Chinese competitors. The author of the publication suggested that the Russian aircraft is characterized by insufficient stealth compared to the F-22, F-35 and J-20.
