Attacks from the sky were repulsed by mobile anti-aircraft missile systems "Strela-10" and self-propelled installations ZSU-23-4 "sHilka".
Armored personnel carriers BTR-82A and infantry fighting vehicles BMP-3 were used for the delivery of personnel.
In total, during the active phase, more than 900 units of weapons and military equipment were involved, including fifteen ships, boats and vessels.
