According to the map shown at the presentation, there will be two air bases with such fighters in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Belgium and Poland, while there will be one in Denmark. Four of the 13 facilities have already been put into operation. The deadlines for the start of full-fledged work of the other eight air bases have been set. Final decision on the 13th object (near the Polish city of Svidvin) not accepted yet.
One of these bases (Lakenheath in the UK) hosts F-35A Lightning II fighters of the US Air Force (Air Force).
In August, Pavel Sozinov, Deputy General Director of the Almaz-Antey concern, said that American fifth-generation F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II fighters can be detected by Russian radars. In the same month, the general director of the RTI Systems concern, Yuri Anoshko, said that the Russian over-the-horizon station "Container" operates in the short wave range (from tens to hundreds of meters long), where the stealth effect stops working.
