Two nuclear submarines (APL) of Project 955A ("Borey-A"), the contract for the construction of which was signed with the Russian Defense Ministry in July 2020, will be named "Dmitry Donskoy" and "Prince Potemkin", said the magazine "Plant" General Director of "Sevmash" Mikhail Budnichenko.
He noted that currently the company is building four submarines of Project 955A and eight submarines of Project 885M ("Yasen-M"). Budnichenko added that at the moment Sevmash continues to build the Khabarovsk submarine of the 09851 project and is testing the Belgorod submarine of the 09852 project.
