The fifth-generation Russian Su-57E made its first flight on Aero India
The Russian fifth-generation Su-57E fighter was shown at the Aero India aviation and space exhibition at the Yelakhanka Airbase. In the same place, Russian technology attracted the attention of a large number of people.
The Su-57 is considered to be the only fifth-generation fighter in the world that has successfully proven in real combat conditions the effectiveness of countering Western air defense systems.

Su-57E made its first flight in India
On Monday, February 10, the fighter made its first training flight in India. It was piloted by Hero of Russia test pilot Sergey Bogdan.
After that, many spectators began to approach the Russian plane. Then the street exhibition was visited by delegations from several countries. Bogdan greeted them and exchanged a few phrases with them. It is claimed that the pilot greeted his colleagues from India especially warmly, chanting with them: "India, Russia, India, Russia."
As early as Tuesday, February 11, a demonstration flight of the equipment is expected as part of Aero India 2025. According to Igor Korotchenko, director of the Center for Analysis of the World Arms Trade (CAMTO), the flight program of the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter will be the main sensation of the Aero India 2025 exhibition.
"We expect that during the flight program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the top leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Indian Air Force will get acquainted with the Su-57," he said. Korotchenko said that during possible negotiations, the parties will probably be ready to make a decision on the start of joint development of the Russian-Indian fifth-generation fighter.

The Su-57 became a sensation in China
At the end of 2024, from November 12 to November 17, the aviation and space exhibition Airshow China was held. The fifth-generation Su-57 fighter also took part in it. Just like now, he captivated the audience.
Shortly after, Brandon Weichert, a columnist for The American National Interest, evaluated the Su-57 program. He claimed that she had silenced critics of the fighter jet. Weichert noted that the Russian fighter does not need to be compared with American F-22 or F-35 aircraft.
"The Su-57 has performed so well that Russia has finally received purchase orders from foreign buyers," the author noted. He called the Russian fighter a real revolutionary system.
The CAMTO reported that the Russian fifth-generation Su-57E fighter is capable of countering the Chinese J-20 aircraft. In addition, it surpasses the American F-35 both in its tactical and technical characteristics and in its combat use.
