Intensive takes place from July 8 to July 21 in the Sakhalin region
MOSCOW, July 15. /tass/. The Russian Aerosim flight simulator, developed by a resident of the Aerotek Aerospace Valley, was chosen as a domestic platform for conducting competitions in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) at the Archipelago intensive. This is reported by the developer company Aerotek.
Archipelago is an annual design and educational intensive for representatives of technology companies and startups, engineering teams, management teams of regions and universities, representatives of scientific organizations that develop projects in the field of new technologies. The intensive takes place from July 8 to July 21 in the Sakhalin region.
"The largest international project-oriented intensive "Archipelago-2024" is attended by the Russian developer of an educational platform for teaching flights on drones - Aerotech company. Its Aerosim manual flight simulator was chosen as a domestic platform for holding competitions on the Archipelago. At Aerosim, pilots are trained to fly, demonstrate and practice their skills in passing various scenarios for the use of UAS," the message says.
The program is focused on training and developing copter management skills - from finding people to logistics of cargo transportation, patrolling territories and extinguishing fires. For three days, participants performed tasks on the simulator to identify fire sources and extinguish forest fires, as well as competed in a drone relay race for the delivery of components from a warehouse. It is clarified that they attributed the functionality and adaptability of technical requirements to the basic software, the unique content of tasks in application scenarios to the main advantages of the development.
In addition, the company is preparing to present its developments at the Drone Garage technology solutions competition on July 16-17. An experimental prototype of the drone will also be on display at the Archipelago exposition.
Aerotek was founded in 2023 and specializes in software development (educational platform for training in flying drones "Breakthrough", commercial name "Aerosim"), development and production of UAVs, including experimental type. The company's products are used on the territory of Russia, including in the SVO zone. He is a resident of the innovative scientific and technological center "Aerospace Innovation Valley", the main sites of which are located in the Ryazan region.
About the intensive
As previously reported to TASS in the press service of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) Platform, more than 500 people are testing domestic solutions in the field of UAS, which is taking place on Sakhalin as part of the Archipelago design and educational intensive. The exercises are organized in 15 areas-scenarios. Among them are cargo delivery, complex cadastral works, monitoring of linear objects, building massifs, water bodies and others. The most popular scenario for regional teams is monitoring forestry and farmland.
On July 11-12, the participants of the Archipelago also tested more than 10 marine robotic solutions on Lake Tunaicha. Domestic developments are designed to survey lakes, seas, protect the water area, clean it and monitor the environmental situation.
The organizers of the intensive are the NTI Platform, the Government of the Sakhalin Region, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the NTI Project Support Fund and the University-2035.
