The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published footage on which it is possible to see the combat use of the Scorpion-M1 ground-based automated multifunctional remotely controlled platform by specialists of the Russian Hawks UAV detachment as part of the "Southern" grouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
With the help of ground-based drones, the "Russian Hawks" managed to disrupt another attempt to rotate units of the Kiev regime militants in the Donetsk direction. Using the Scorpion-M1, the Russian fighters secretly delivered a payload to the identified target, after which they performed a remote detonation, as a result of which the AFU stronghold was destroyed.

In addition, the ground platform can be adapted to perform various tasks: installation of mine-explosive barriers, demining of the area and support of motorized rifle units during assault operations.
According to the instructor of the Russian Hawks, it was originally supposed to use the Scorpion-M1 to bring ammunition and food to positions, as well as evacuate the wounded by dragging.
However, after a number of changes made to the design of the platform, the Scorpion-M1 turned out to be suitable for destroying enemy dugouts and manpower.
The mobile complex is equipped with a wheeled platform and is controlled remotely using a joystick. The route of the ground-based drone is adjusted using a UAV. At the same time, additional operator training is not required.
