TSAMTO, August 18. During the business program of the IX International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023", Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) held over 80 meetings and negotiations with delegations from more than 40 countries.
The total area of the Rosoboronexport exposition at Army-2023 exceeded 2,300 square meters, due to which it was possible to increase the number of products presented. In total, at 6 locations at the forum, the company demonstrated more than 250 samples of weapons and military equipment for all types of armed forces developed and manufactured by Russian defense enterprises.
Rosoboronexport told its partners about the advantages of Russian weapons and military equipment, which, according to the results of combat use in the zone of a special military operation, are being upgraded in accordance with the combat tasks performed.
"In 2023, Rosoboronexport organized a rich business program on the sidelines of the Army Forum. We have held presentations of over 350 samples of Russian military, dual-use and civilian products for delegations from more than 30 countries. We signed several export contracts worth about $ 600 million, discussed with partners the development of bilateral military-technical cooperation, including saw great interest in industrial partnership projects. We have reached agreements on the joint production of Kalashnikov assault rifles, armored vehicles, guided projectiles on the territory of customers, as well as the installation of Russian uninhabited combat modules of various calibers on the chassis of partners," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport.
In 2023, Rosoboronexport presented a reconnaissance and firing complex at its static site. It includes reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, an artillery unit reconnaissance and control system based on the Tablet-A complex and the 1B75E sound–thermal complex, as well as means of fire destruction - the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer and the 2C31 Vienna self-propelled artillery gun. An echeloned anti-UAV system based on air defense systems and electronic warfare systems is also shown.
The company's partners showed great interest in MiG-35, Su-57E, Su-35, Su-34 and Su-30SME combat aircraft, Ka-52E helicopters, upgraded Mi-28NE and Mi-171SH, Ka-226T and Mi-35P, as well as Orion-E UAVs,"Orlan-10E" and "Orlan-30" and means of combating UAVs.
Russian air defense systems, considered the best on the world market, attracted the special attention of foreign delegations at Army-2023. At the request of partners, Rosoboronexport presented the S-400 Triumph, S-350E Vityaz, Viking air defense systems, various versions of Buk and Tor air defense systems produced by Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region, as well as the products of the Pantsir–S1 High-Precision Complexes, part of Rostec Holding", "Pantsir-S1M" and a marine version – the ZRAK "Pantsir-ME", which has recently successfully passed state tests and is already being installed on Russian ships, as well as MANPADS "Willow" and "Igla-S".
In the segment of products for the ground forces, Rosoboronexport told foreign customers in detail about the Russian T-90, T-72, barrel and rocket artillery tanks offered on the world market, including Msta-S self-propelled guns, Tornado-S and Tornado-G MLRS, Tiger armored vehicles, "Spartak", "Typhoon-K", anti-tank complexes "Kornet-E", "Kornet-EM", small arms, melee weapons and inflatable models of military equipment. The partners highly appreciated the characteristics of the "Cape" camouflage presented for the first time, which successfully hides armored vehicles from optical and thermal imaging surveillance in combat conditions.
Rosoboronexport has also carried out active marketing work on its digital platforms. In particular, 40 video announcements and presentations of products presented at the forum have been prepared for posting on the company's official website, on Rosoboronexport channels on Rutube and YouTube, as well as on social networks. An interactive tour of the exhibition with the use of virtual reality technologies, the possibility of an integrated transition from a general overview of the exhibits to obtaining more detailed information about them has been published.
"The Army Forum plays a huge role in the development of military-technical cooperation between Russia and foreign countries thanks to the demonstration of new models of Russian weapons and military equipment to partners. It is expected that by 2030 the share of new samples of Russian products on the world market will prevail over those produced today in the proportion of 90% to 10%, – Alexander Mikheev noted in a report to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu at the Army-2023 forum. – Rosoboronexport is among the leaders of growth in the near and medium term today He sees the Su-57E 5th generation fighter, the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, the Ka-52E reconnaissance and attack helicopter, the Vityaz S-350E ZRS, the Pantsir-S1M ZRPC, the 22356 frigate Ave., TOS-2 and others."
In addition to demonstrating Russian products to customers at the forum, Rosoboronexport representatives visited the exhibition sites of foreign partners represented at the Army-2023.
