Rosoboronexport will present Russian military and civilian products at the AAD 2022 exhibition in South Africa

Rosoboronexport JSC, part of Rostec State Corporation, is organizing a Russian exposition at the International Conference and Exhibition of Weapons and Military Equipment for All Types of Armed Forces AFRICA AEROSPACE & DEFENSE 2022. The exhibition will be held from September 21 to 25 at the Waterkloof Centurion Air Force Base in Pretoria, South Africa.

"The countries of sub-Saharan Africa today are among the leaders in the growth of the level and quality of military-technical cooperation with Russia. Rosoboronexport is developing mutually beneficial ties with almost all states in the region, helping them strengthen their defense capability, sovereignty, and fight organized crime and terrorism," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport. "At the exhibition, we will present about 400 samples of the best Russian products for all types of armed forces, police and special units, security equipment and cybersecurity solutions, as well as a wide range of civilian products."

AFRICA AEROSPACE & DEFENSE is the most important marketing event that gathers representatives of most countries of sub–Saharan Africa on its site. Rosoboronexport expects visits of delegations of various law enforcement agencies of South Africa and the states of the region at its stand, to which it will offer information on samples of weapons and military equipment produced by Russian defense enterprises promoted on the world market.

For the needs of the ground forces, Rosoboronexport will present the most popular Russian-made samples in Africa, including the T-90S tank, the TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system, the Smerch MLRS, the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer for NATO 155 mm caliber, BTR-80A and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, various modifications protected vehicles of the Tiger and Typhoon families, as well as the Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system. Great interest is expected in small arms, including Kalashnikov assault rifles of various series – "one hundredth", "two hundredth", AK-12, AK-15 and AK-19, and personal armor protection equipment.

The attention of the delegations of the ground forces of African states, police and special services, various civil and municipal departments will be attracted by the popular Russian civilian products in the region. Rosoboronexport will present a wide range of automotive and special multi-purpose vehicles, engineering and road construction equipment, tactical vehicles for the transportation of personnel. In addition, the company will talk about its competencies in the field of organizing the production of this equipment on the territory of the customer countries.

Rosoboronexport expects increased interest of representatives of foreign air forces in the multifunctional front-line fighter MiG-35D, training (combat training) aircraft Yak-130, military transport helicopters Mi-17, transport and combat type Mi-35, as well as combat Ka-52E and Mi-28NE. Taking into account the close attention of the world market to unmanned aerial vehicles, Rosoboronexport will present at the exhibition the Orion-E reconnaissance and strike complex with the Orion-E UAV, the Orlan-10E multifunctional complex with the Orlan-10E UAV and the latest Kub-E guided ammunition complex.

To protect the airspace, Rosoboronexport will offer its partners a wide range of air defense systems of various ranges, including the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems, Buk-M2E and Tor-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems, the ZU-23 anti-aircraft installation, the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex, portable air defense missile systems "Willow" and "Igla-S". The presented funds can be used, among other things, in the construction of a layered air defense system. They are also effectively used to combat unmanned aerial vehicles of various classes.

Along with this, Rosoboronexport will show at the exhibition the Repellent Patrol and RB-504P-E electronic warfare systems, which are designed to counter small-sized UAVs.

Rosoboronexport will demonstrate high-speed amphibious and assault boats and boats BK-9, BK-10, BK-10M and BK-16E to the delegations of the naval forces of African states. In addition, the company will show partners the small rocket ship "Karakurt-E" and the patrol ship of the project 22160.

Rosoboronexport has planned a busy business program within the framework of AFRICA AEROSPACE & DEFENSE 2022. The company is ready to discuss various aspects of military-technical cooperation with sub-Saharan Africa.

я  вот никак  не  пойму... а  что  вышеперечисленное  уже  в достаточном  количестве  в войсках которые  в Украине? Как  можно  предлагать вооружение  на экспорт, когда  у тебя  война и не  очень успешная? Все  время  читаю  как  народ  скидывается  на  экипировку , приборы  наблюдения, коптеры.  На  кадрах  едет  старая бронетехника  и прицепная  артиллерия. Видел  как дремучие  еле ползущие  бензовозы  на  базе Краза  в  составе  колон  шли в Украину. Еще  в  первых  числах ввода  войск  много техники тащили на  буксире   или просто бросали, потому  что  старье и не боеготовое. И тут бодрая  статейка , будто нет СВО и простаивающая   оборонка  не  знает  куда  продукцию деть!
