MOSCOW, September 12/ Sputnik Radio. Air defense means will repel a massive strike by aircraft and missiles of a simulated enemy on the Kaliningrad region as part of the exercises of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Navy. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
At the same time, the crews of the Pantsir S-1 missile and cannon complexes will make a stealthy march to the training ground, where they will fire at targets imitating the equipment of a conditional enemy, the Baltic Fleet added.
In addition, the air defense units will work out standards for the deployment of radar, the detection of air targets and the transmission of information to anti-aircraft gunners.
More than 50 pieces of equipment and more than 500 personnel are involved in the exercises.
