The Forum became a record in the amount of contracts concluded The Army-2022 Forum became a record in the amount of contracts concluded — it exceeded 500 billion rubles.
The main agreements relate to the supply of strategic weapons, hypersonic missiles, drones and armored vehicles. Experts noted that the purchased weapons will help provide a technological advantage both over NATO countries and over the armed formations of Ukraine. One of the most vivid impressions this year was the exhibition of foreign captured weapons captured during a special military operation. In addition, the recently launched Voenkino Foundation was presented at Army-2022. As its head Maxim Ksenzov told Izvestia, the organization has already received applications for almost 120 projects.
Replenishment of the arsenals of the Army-2022, the Ministry of Defense signed and handed over contracts for more than 500 billion rubles to military-industrial complex enterprises.
Among the largest are purchases of serial samples of heavy intercontinental nuclear missiles "Sarmat", the latest S—500 anti-aircraft missile systems, hypersonic missiles "Zircon" for ships and "Dagger" for aviation.
Contracts were also signed for batches of drones. Among those ordered are small "Orlan—10", "Orlan-30" and "Aileron-3", as well as medium shock "Pacers". Upgraded Ka-52M and Mi-28NM attack helicopters have also been purchased. The fleet of ground armored vehicles will be replenished with T-90M tanks, BTR-82 armored personnel carriers and Tiger armored vehicles. The quantity of the ordered equipment is not specified.
Military expert Dmitry Boltenkov noted that this year most of the announced contracts were related to the conduct of a special operation in Ukraine and will be especially relevant after the Kiev regime receives large quantities of foreign weapons.

— Among the announced orders there were especially many different drones, precision and guided weapons. The purchased upgraded helicopters are distinguished by the ability to use the latest missiles, including the light LMUR that have become famous. Armored vehicles are not forgotten either. In addition to the latest T-90M, an interesting modernization project of the T-62M was presented with the installation of the latest surveillance system on it, which any modern tank and other reconnaissance vehicles will envy.
In total, under the concluded contracts, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will receive over 3.7 thousand samples of military equipment. Repairs will also be carried out with the modernization of over 100 weapons, said Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko.
Armory Novinkin "Army-2022" for the first time demonstrated the drone "Orlan-30" to the general public.
Equipped with a laser designator-rangefinder, a small device has already become a hunter for enemy artillery. The Ministry of Defense has repeatedly demonstrated videos of them aiming sniper strikes at artillery installations with adjustable projectiles.
The Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV) showed at the exhibition a high-precision cruise missile X-69 for hitting ground targets. The multi-purpose ammunition developed for fifth-generation fighters with a range of 300 km can also be used by other new VKS strike aircraft.

It can be equipped with several types of head parts, including allowing both automatic and manual guidance on the final section day and night. A 30-kilogram high-explosive fragmentation warhead of a rocket can be delivered at a distance of 20-70 km, depending on the launch altitude.
The upgraded Raptor 2.0 boat, presented at the exhibition, received enhanced booking, protection and its own high-precision short-range missiles. This turned the patrol boat into a multi-purpose strike unit.
The concept of an autonomous uninhabited underwater escort vehicle "Surrogate-B" was presented for the fleet. A 40-ton underwater drone can simulate enemy submarines in exercises, and in a combat situation take on strikes intended for a carrier submarine.

Academician A.L. Mints demonstrated an on-board radar complex (BRLC) for remote sensing of the Earth, which is already undergoing flight tests. Unlike its predecessors, it was able to observe selected areas in high resolution in detail, multi-beam shooting mode and processing of the data obtained using mathematical elements of artificial intelligence. In addition to military tasks, the BRLC can also be used for construction, ensuring the safety of navigation on the Northern Sea Route, and detecting oil spills.
Rostov Optical-Mechanical Plant has prepared for the introduction of a new system of remote detonation of shells for the guns of armored personnel carriers BTR-82 and infantry fighting vehicles. Their upgraded sights with a laser emitter give the command to activate specially designed 30-millimeter shells at a precisely timed time after the shot. This makes it much more effective to hit infantry with shrapnel, especially in trenches and other shelters, than with conventional ammunition. A contract has already been signed for 1.5 billion rubles for serial deliveries.

The latter presented a line of reconnaissance and attack drones, as well as precision weapons. Representatives of the Celestial Empire demonstrated all the capabilities of their growing military-industrial complex — from the production of ammunition to the construction of aircraft carriers and fifth-generation aircraft.
Content Offensive At the Army-2022 forum, a presentation of the recently launched Military-Patriotic Cinema Support Fund was held.
The creation of "Voenkino" in early July of this year was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu. The foundation held several discussion sessions at the Army. The prospects and tasks of Voenkino were also discussed during the work of the first International Anti-Fascist Congress included in the forum program.
As the head of the Ministry of Defense stated at his plenary session, the foundation "will contribute to the formation of ideas about the historical past and the elimination of historical injustice in films."
Voenkino will work in four directions - production, support, involvement and meanings, Maxim Ksenzov, the head of the foundation, told Izvestia. At the same time, the key direction will be production, that is, direct support for the creation of cinematographic, animation, documentary or digital projects.

These will probably be fantastic films, comedies, gaming and digital projects," the head of the foundation explained. — We want to make projects systemic, create ecosystems of the universe and are going to support film projects all the way.
The selection of applications in the categories "Feature films", "Animated films" and "Feature and Animated series" opened on August 1. According to Maxim Ksenzov, 118 projects of different formats are currently applying for the support of Voenkino. These are large-scale epic film films, chamber stories, feature and documentary series, animation and even computer games.
At Army-2022, the Military-Patriotic Cinema Support Fund signed the first agreement on joint production of films with the Triix Media film company. Earlier, she jointly with the Ministry of Defense created the film "Sky".

In addition to creating patriotic content, Voenkino plans to modernize up to 30 cinemas owned by the Ministry of Defense in military clubs and officers' homes.
— At the initial stage, we plan to develop a promising model of a military club with expanded event opportunities. And we expect that in the future these sites will attract not only military personnel, but also civilian viewers," Maxim Ksenzov explained to Izvestia.
Exhibition of trophies Specially for the forum in the Patriot Park, an exposition of samples of foreign weapons taken during a military special operation in Ukraine was created.
There are more than 450 items in it — from small drones to tanks, armored vehicles and whole boats.
In the center of the exhibition is an intact American M777 howitzer captured along with ammunition. The Pentagon has transferred over 120 such guns to Ukraine.

The device was shot down on April 29 this year near the city of Svatovo in the LPR. Smaller drones are also presented nearby, for example, a rare military "Penguin" transferred by Latvia, as well as many commercial multicopters widely used by Ukrainian troops.
The collection of guided anti-tank missiles that NATO countries sent to Ukraine turned out to be extremely rich. Here are American Javelin and TOW-2, British NLAW, French Milan, German and Spanish grenade launchers. Among the exhibits there are boxes with portable Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems from the USA.
