MOSCOW, April 29 - RIA Novosti. The Russian Defense Ministry has opened a multimedia section on its website, which presents the composition of units and samples of military equipment involved in the Victory Parade on Red Square.
In the new section, the order of passage of the parade troops on foot, their composition and number, the order of passage of the mechanized column and the flight of aviation are published.
"The section opens with a detailed scheme for the construction of 33 foot calculations, which will be presented by servicemen of all types and branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, participants of the All-Russian Yunarmey movement, cadets and pupils of military educational institutions, as well as representatives of other law enforcement agencies of the country and the All-Russian Cossack Society," the Russian military department clarified.
This year, the parade will involve T-72B3M, T-90M "Breakthrough", T-14 "Armata", infantry fighting vehicles "Kurganets", BMP-2 "Berezhok", BMP-3, armored vehicles "Typhoon-K", "Typhoon-airborne", "Tiger-M". The artillery will be represented by self-propelled artillery installations "Msta-S", operational-tactical missile complexes "Iskander", multiple rocket launchers "Tornado-G". The S-400, Buk-M3 and Tor-M2 air defense systems, Yars rocket launchers, Uran-9 robotic complexes and promising armored personnel carriers on the Boomerang platform are closed in a mechanized column. The best tank of the Great Patriotic War, the legendary T-34-85, will lead the mechanized column.
In the aviation part of the parade, strategic missile carriers Tu-95MS and Tu-160 "White Swan", Il-78 air tanker, MiG-29, Su-35S, MiG-31 fighters, the latest fifth-generation Su-57 aircraft, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, Il air control center will fly in the sky over Moscow-80, as well as Ka-52, Mi-28N, Mi-24, Mi-8 helicopters and the largest transport helicopter in the world - Mi-26.
"For the first time, eight MiG-29SMT fighters will fly over Red Square in flight order in the form of the letter "Z" in support of Russian servicemen participating in a special military operation in Ukraine," the Defense Ministry noted.
The air part of the parade will be completed by nine fighters of the Russian Knights and Swifts aerobatic groups in the Cuban Diamond formation and six Su-25 attack aircraft that will paint the sky in the colors of the Russian tricolor.
In total, 11 thousand people, 131 units of weapons, military and special equipment, as well as 77 aircraft and helicopters will take part in the parade to commemorate the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
