SEVASTOPOL, February 22. /tass/. The calculations of the air defense (air defense) frigate "Admiral Essen" of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) worked out the search and destruction of air targets during the exercises, the Black Sea Fleet said on Tuesday.

It is specified that the exercises were held in the Black Sea. The crew of the frigate Admiral Essen also conducted exercises with a Ka-27PS helicopter from the naval aviation and air defense of the Black Sea Fleet based on board the ship.
"The pilots of the Black Sea Fleet naval aviation worked out the tasks of takeoffs and landings on the deck of the ship both at anchor and on the move, and also conducted training to check the coherence of all systems of the aviation complex and shipboard calculations that ensure helicopter flights. The flights were conducted both during daylight and at night," the fleet noted.
The events were held as part of naval exercises under the overall leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy.
