Tank units and electronic warfare (EW) specialists of the Central Military District successfully conducted a joint operation at a training ground in the Orenburg region.
At the tactical exercise held there, the calculations of the Orlan drones and the air defense equipment on duty recorded the approach of the lightly armored vehicles of the conditional enemy to the settlement. This group was accompanied by attack drones.
"Servicemen on T-72B3 tanks have built defensive lines on the approaches to the settlement. And maneuverable EW groups, using Borisoglebsk-2 complexes and automated interference stations "Inhabitant", provided radio suppression of control channels by enemy drones," the press service of the Central Military District said.
This was followed by a training battle. In its course, the crews of the T-72B3 destroyed enemy air targets with fire from anti-aircraft tank machine guns of the NSVT. And the tankers disabled the lightly armored vehicles with the help of 125-mm guns.
The press service of the district clarified that more than 700 military personnel, as well as over 80 units of combat and special equipment were involved in this exercise.
