American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles will be used to simulate the Russian T-72B3M in exercises
The US military will receive modified M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs). Special vehicles will simulate Russian T-72B3M tanks and Chinese VN17 infantry fighting vehicles during the exercises. This is reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The US Army Combined Arms Center showed new machines to simulate foreign equipment at the exercises. The images show the BMP, which mimic the T-72B3M and VN17. Special equipment was built on the basis of the Bradley BMP. The publication notes that to create layouts, part of M2A2 will be removed from storage.
To simulate a Russian tank, the American car was equipped with models of guns, dynamic protection and side screens. The M2A2 also received lattice screens and external fuel tanks.
The running model of the Chinese car received an imitation of additional protection and an enlarged turret. The military also plans to receive mock-ups of the Russian-made Tunguska and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and cannon complexes.
In January, a mock-up of a tank was shown in Vietnam. The self-propelled car is built on the basis of a motorcycle. The design is designed to simulate the actions of the enemy in exercises.
In October, the Australian company GaardTech presented a static target of the T-14 Armata tank.
