In the Sverdlovsk region, the launchers of the Yars mobile nuclear missile complex of the Teikov Division of the Strategic Missile Forces were brought to the combat patrol routes. As reported to the correspondent of "RG" in the Ministry of Defense, during the exercise, strategic rocket scientists, among other things, will work out the covert transfer of missile systems to field positions.
Everything is happening as it would be done during the war. For example, Typhoon-M combat anti-sabotage vehicles with unmanned aerial vehicles are used to detect, block and destroy conditional saboteurs. The sabotage groups themselves, according to the plan of the exercise, will operate on the distant approaches to the field positions of the Yarsov missile regiment and will try to mine road sections on combat patrol routes.
Recall that the strategic "Poplars" and "Yars" were specially made not only in the mine, but also in the mobile version, so that in case of anything the enemy would break his head over their search. During the threatened period, the coordinates of the bases of nuclear missiles are instantly entered into the electronic brain of the shock complexes. These are the objects of the first attack. And mobile means of nuclear attack still need to be detected, and only then try to destroy.
In order to disrupt enemy attacks and strike themselves, the Strategic Missile Forces organize combat duty on patrol routes. The importance of this type of study can be judged by this example. Only one Teikovo missile division covers an area comparable in size to the total area of several European states with its complexes during patrolling. But the command of the Strategic Missile Forces brings several similar formations to the column paths.
On ordinary highways, heavy multi-axis mazes with nuclear missiles, of course, are not to be found. Their route is laid away from inhabited places, usually in wooded areas. This not only ensures the secrecy of the movement of "strategists", but also allows them to practice various introductory exercises on the road. Although the means of camouflage, including special aerosol clouds, make the equipment practically invisible from the air, and electronic warfare equipment is working in the places where it is located, NATO spy satellites will still try to see our strategic "Yars" from orbit. The task of space exploration is to determine the coordinates and direction of movement of missile systems. If the enemy manages to do this in wartime, the next step will be a strike on the column or positions of the rocket men.
When it is not possible to get them with firepower, military special forces or saboteurs are sent to the raid. They will do everything possible to prevent the launch of nuclear missiles and destroy the RVSN complexes even at the stage of preparation for firing. Therefore, special attention is paid to the protection of launchers on the march and in field camps. Accordingly, the protection of columns and positions is built, various options for repelling attacks are modeled.
