TSAMTO, January 13. Specialists of the RCB protection of the Guards Red Banner Combined Arms Army received a batch of reconnaissance chemical vehicles RHM-6 included in the automated command and control system.
The new equipment was received as part of the state defense order and provides the transfer of intelligence about the RCB and the meteorological situation in real time to the automated command and control system.
The RHM-6 will replace outdated modifications and increase the capabilities of specialists of the Vistula Motorized Rifle Division of the Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District to conduct special reconnaissance by almost 30 percent.
During the ceremony of handing over nine RHM-6, the crews received the keys to the armored vehicles and have already started special training classes. The drivers of the cars will work out overcoming obstacles, and the chemical scouts will use a set of surveillance, reconnaissance and special situation monitoring devices.
The RHM-6 has an increased radius of monitoring the situation and the ability to timely notify troops of its change, the machine includes the latest dosimeters-radiometers, gas detectors, meteorological kits, special processing devices, etc., the press service of the Western Military District reports.
