SIMFEROPOL, Nov 19 - RIA Novosti. Training to repel the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles of a conditional enemy took place in the Black Sea Fleet, the press service of the fleet reports.
"At the bases of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet, training was conducted with duty shifts on air defense with the development of elements for detecting and repelling strikes of low-flying air targets of a conditional enemy," the report says.
Unmanned aerial vehicles from the naval aviation and air defense units of the Black Sea Fleet were involved in the role of the air enemy.
The calculations of the duty shifts of the air defense posts successfully completed the tasks of identifying and repelling the raid of "enemy" drones, the press service added.
Earlier, Ukraine purchased Bayraktar attack drones from Turkey to "deter" Russia and protect its territory. At the end of October, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military first used Bayraktar in the Donbass.
