Moscow. November 13. INTERFAX - Crews of shipboard Ka-27 helicopters conducted exercises to search for submarines of a simulated enemy in the Baltic Sea, the press service of the Baltic Fleet (BF) reported on Saturday.
"The crews of Ka-27 shipboard helicopters in anti-submarine and search-and-rescue variants have worked out the coherence of actions as part of pairs in various weather conditions. The anti-submarine ships completed the tasks of searching, detecting, tracking and destroying the submarines of a conditional enemy," the report says.
It is noted that rescuers conducted training on the ground and above the surface of the sea to rescue people in distress, and also provided the landing of specialists of rescue parachute groups of naval aviation of the fleet.
