On November 17, 2021, the IX annual Forum "Composites Without Borders" will be held in partnership with the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. The event will be held in two formats in person at the Skolkovo Technopark online at the INNOPROM Online site. The event is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The general sponsor is the interregional cluster "Composites without Borders".
The Composites Without Borders Forum is aimed at integrating the Russian composite industry into the global technological agenda, promoting domestic composite materials and technologies, and developing cooperation between key Russian market participants.
The following events are planned in the program of the IX Forum:
- Plenary session "Strategy for the development of the composites industry until 2035"
- Panel discussion "Light wings: how the state can help the Russian composites market take off"
- Panel discussion "Composites - materials, development, implementation, efficiency"
- Panel discussion "Composites - a modern trend in shipbuilding"
- Panel discussion "New opportunities for the use of composites in the construction industry"
- "Composite stand-up"
- The award ceremony of the IV contest "Composites without borders. AWARDS"
- Pitch sessions
The development of the composite direction is currently based on 3 key factors.
The first is the full compliance of composites with global trends. Hydrogen cylinders, wind turbine blades, solar panels are 100% composite. Over the past 20 years, the share of composites in Boeing and Airbus liners has increased from 10% to 50% and continues to grow, providing a 20% increase in fuel efficiency and a 30% reduction in the cost of maintenance throughout the life cycle. Unmanned aerial vehicles, modern high-speed vessels, trains, electric vehicles are impossible without composites. The lion's share of sports equipment is already carbon.
The second is the development of waste recycling and recycling technologies to solve, among other things, an environmental problem, since carbon fiber works for up to 100 years or more, and it makes no sense to talk about the period of its decomposition. Recycling and recycling of used products in the coming years will become a mandatory element of the sale of products to customers.
Third, the transition to digital will dramatically reduce the time and cost of developing new materials, remove the barrier for designers and designers who currently have a shortage of information about the capabilities of modern PCMs.
For full-time participation, you must leave a request on the forum's website .
The territory of the forum has been declared an anti-covid zone, all participants who want to attend the forum in person will need to provide a certificate of vaccination or a QR code confirming the disease suffered in the last 6 months or a negative PCR test for covid in order to receive a badge.
