Leonkov noted that the Su-57 is ahead of competitors in terms of weapons systems and rates of robotization. Also, the radar station and electronic warfare systems of the Russian machine are better than the solutions used in the F-22 and F-35.
According to the expert, the advantages of the Su-57 include the "co-pilot" system, which facilitates piloting and conducting combat for the pilot of the aircraft.
The interlocutor of the agency stressed that in the United States, fifth-generation aircraft include machines that have low visibility, maneuverability and the ability to fly at supersonic speed without afterburner. "For a long time it was believed that only the F-22 and F-35 could be counted among the fifth generation, but these aircraft are not inconspicuous, that is, they are shot down," he added.
