Russia is superior to the United States in some aspects of weapons. This was announced on Wednesday, September 8, by the American ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul.
He noted that in certain aspects, Russia is superior to China, including in nuclear weapons.
"He (Russian President Vladimir Putin — Ed.) invested a fantastic amount of money in the modernization of systems. And in many ways, they are ahead of us in certain aspects in terms of their capabilities. I think this is a frightening fact that many people do not pay attention to," RIA Novosti quotes the American ambassador as saying.
Earlier, on September 4, American military experts named the best combat helicopters in the world, the five of which included the Russian-made Ka-52, Mi-28NM and Mi-24 vehicles. Experts pointed out that Russia is the only country that produces more than one type of high-quality heavy attack helicopters.
