As announced on 6 September 2021 JSC "Shipbuilding plant "Severnaya Verf" (Saint Petersburg, is part of the JSC "United shipbuilding Corporation"), on the fourth frigate "Admiral of the fleet of the Soviet Union Isakov" project 22350 (serial number 924) under construction for the Russian Navy, performed loading of turbines and gearboxes diesel-gas turbine unit (DGTA). The DGTA M55R, developed by the United Engine Corporation, is the second fully domestic unit created at Russian facilities as part of the import substitution program.

Both the starboard and port side turbines, together with the gearboxes, are immersed in the aft engine room of the ship through special technological cutouts. After centering the gearboxes, main diesel engines and turbines, the shipbuilders will be engaged in centering and installing the shaft line. These works will take about six months.
On the part of bmpd, we recall that " Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Isakov "(factory number 924) is the fourth frigate of the project 22350 and the second ship of this project with a fully domestic diesel-gas turbine power plant, after the frigate "Admiral Golovko" (factory number 923). On the first two frigates of project 22350 "Admiral Gorshkov" (serial number 921, commissioned in 2018) and "Admiral Kasatonov" (serial number 922, commissioned in 2020) - as the afterburning engines applied gas turbine Ukrainian Nikolaev GP npkg "Zorya" - "mashproyekt", the same company produced and reducers dgta of these ships..
Starting from the third hull, the frigates of the project 22350 provide for the use of M90FR gas turbine engines manufactured by PJSC UEC-Saturn (part of the Joint Stock Company United Engine Corporation). Diesel engines 10D49 of JSC "Kolomna Plant"are installed on the ships as marching ones. RO55 gearboxes are supplied by PJSC "Zvezda Plant".
The first set of Russian-made gas turbine engines and gearboxes was loaded at the Drilling Shipyard on the third Admiral Golovko frigate under construction of project 22350 (factory number 923) in December 2020.
JSC "United Engine Corporation" (UEC) previously reported that it delivered to the Northern Shipyard the first diesel-gas turbine unit (DGTA) M55R for the fourth frigate "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Isakov" in early July 2021, and the second DGTA M55R for it - in early August 2021.
The frigate " Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Isakov "(factory number 924) was laid down at the Northern Shipyard on November 14, 2013. Apparently, the ship will be commissioned in 2023.
