This was stated by Ivan Ozhgikhin, Senior Managing Director of RUSNANO Management Company, Chairman of the Management Board of the Medical Equipment Consortium, at the Innomed forum. Currently, up to 30% of the volume of medical products purchased at the expense of the budget is already produced in Russia.
The Consortium "Medical Equipment", established by three key associations of the medical industry, state corporations "Rostec", "Rosatom" and the Almaz-Antey Concern, is engaged in achieving this goal and coordinating the activities of developers, manufacturers and consumers of medical equipment and consumables.
One of the most ambitious tasks of the Consortium is to create a single digital platform for medical equipment, which will provide continuous monitoring of the condition of equipment at all stages of the life cycle.
The introduction of digital solutions, including in the context of telemedicine and new technological services, is a priority for the RUSNANO Group. "Medicine of the Future" will increase the control and quality of medical services, reduce the burden on the primary health care sector.
In addition, within the framework of the forum, a Consortium agreement was signed with the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Institute of Quality" of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Healthcare. Effective cooperation of the structures will ensure the improvement of the NPA, the development of domestic production, the evolution of market mechanisms for replacing imported products and the introduction of new programs of additional professional education.
Work in this direction will also ensure the diversification of enterprises of the military-industrial complex focused on the production of civilian products.
