PATRIOT PARK (Moscow region), 27 Aug-RIA Novosti. The research Institute " Ferrite-Domain "of the holding "Roselectronics" (part of Rostec) is increasing the volume of supplies of ship radio-absorbing coatings for the Russian Navy, in 2021 they will grow by 50%, Maxim Kavaev, executive director of Ferrite-Domain, told RIA Novosti.
"The coatings transferred to the fleet in 2020 will provide a new level of protection for Navy ships. In 2021, we plan to increase the volume of supplies of new materials by more than 50%," he said.
As specified in "Roselectronics", the Research Institute "Ferrite-Domain" delivered more than 700 square meters of radio-absorbing coatings to the shipyards last year to equip the ships of the Russian Navy in the sea and ocean zones.
According to the holding, the coatings meet the modern requirements of the Navy and have no analogues in radiophysical and mass-dimensional characteristics. The materials are made on the basis of thin films on flexible substrates and function in the radar, infrared and visible wavelength ranges.
The coating samples have successfully passed a full cycle of laboratory, field and field tests.
