The airborne troops of Russia will conduct an experimental exercise with the release of a mobile hospital with equipment by parachute from aircraft.
"For the first time in world practice, a full-fledged military hospital of an airborne unit will be parachuted from heavy military transport aircraft," the information department of the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The military reported that the mobile hospital of the Ivanovo Airborne Division will be landed along with equipment, supplies, medical equipment and engineering equipment.
This exercise will be held on behalf of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in the Ivanovo and Kostroma regions, the report says.
