The reason for the crash of the Russian Su-35S fighter was a "banal mess", writes the Baza edition in Telegram.
"The pilot, saving his own life on the command of his superiors, crashed a completely serviceable plane. As it turned out during the investigation, the order to eject was given by the flight director, who thought that the plane caught fire right during takeoff from the Dzemgi airfield," the publication says.
According to Baza, the flight director took the false thermal targets firing back for the fire, which were triggered due to radiation from equipment on the airfield. A possible reason for this failure in the publication is called incorrect parameter settings.
It is noted that " no one except the Russian budget was injured in the crash."
A week ago channel in Telegram bmpd, referring to the informal network sources, wrote that the crashed su-35S "was fully functional at the time of leaving the pilot", but in the cabin was incorrectly set switch shooting traps in the position "Automatic", with the result that after separation of the aircraft from the runway appeared lock shooting bullets that were shot in automatic mode, due to the powerful radiation of radio-electronic stations of the airfield.
The incident with the Su-35S from the 23rd Fighter Aviation Regiment from the Dzemgi airfield (Komsomolsk-on-Amur), which fell on Sakhalin, occurred on July 31. After the pilot left the plane, the Su-35S gained almost 13 kilometers of altitude and flew until the fuel was exhausted for 1 hour and 13 minutes, after which it fell.
