RKS will show at the MAKS-2021 air show a full cycle of manufacturing satellite equipment using a "smart" robot

Moscow. July 15. INTERFAX-Holding "Russian Space Systems" will demonstrate the industrial symbiosis of a robot and a human at the international aviation and Space salon MAKS-2021, the press service of the RKS reports.

"The interactive stand of the holding will recreate the full cycle of industrial production of reliable satellite equipment, where a person works in tandem with a" smart " robot. Visitors will be able to interact with the robot and see the wide possibilities of cooperation between the machine and the assembly production specialist, " the message said on Thursday.

The message quotes the words of the head of the RKS design and technology center Kirill Smirnov, who noted that the robot has a health-safety system - its operations are continuously synchronized with human actions. If there is the slightest risk to the health and safety of a specialist, the machine will stop the production process.

According to the press service, using Big Data technology, the robot will select from the array the necessary unified components, tools and auxiliary technological materials for the manufacture of a given device. All technical actions of the robot and the specialist, changes in the environmental conditions in the production room in real time will be accompanied by automatic radio and video monitoring.

"After the assembly operations are performed by a human and a robot, the assembled device will be sent to the post-control procedure: the video scanner will automatically check the necessary parameters of the product-geometry, correctness of assembly and marking, the presence of external defects and will automatically issue a conclusion on the suitability of the assembled equipment," the press release says.

The report notes that the system of automatic control of the production process in this industrial model controls all the parameters and processes in production at the same time. At any deviation from the permissible values, the "instrument-making conveyor" immediately stops to identify and eliminate the causes of the failure.
