The Naval Forces of Ukraine have received the first Bayraktar TB2 unmanned reconnaissance and strike system, which can be used to destroy Russian warships, Defense Express reports.
"Bayraktar TB2 complexes will significantly strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy in protecting the southern borders of our homeland," the Ukrainian information and consulting agency assures.
The publication notes that Bayraktar TB2 is planned to be used for monitoring the surface situation and targeting missiles of the coastal complex LCD-360MC "Neptune", as well as"defeating the enemy from the air". "Our Navy will be able to use its Bayraktar TB2 to defeat small and medium-sized ships of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) of Russia," the publication promises.
In July, Defense Express, referring to the general director of the Luch design bureau Oleg Korostelev, reported that the cost of developing the Ukrainian coastal missile complex LCD-360MC "Neptune", called in Kiev the "destroyer" of the Russian Crimean Bridge, amounted to $ 40 million.
In June, Motor Sich and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) signed an agreement for the supply of 14 Ukrainian power units for the 11-ton Turkish multi-purpose heavy combat helicopter ATAK-2 (T929).
