The crews of aircraft and helicopters of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) flew to St. Petersburg to participate in the Main Naval Parade, more than 10 units of aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet will be involved, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet said on Monday.
"The crews of aircraft and helicopters of the naval aviation and air defense of the Black Sea Fleet flew from the Crimean airfields to St. Petersburg to participate in the Main Naval Parade, which will be held on July 25. As part of the forces of the Black Sea Fleet involved in the parade, there are more than 10 aircraft and helicopters, including Su-24MR attack aircraft, Be-12 amphibious aircraft, Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopter and Ka-31R reconnaissance helicopter, Mi-8 helicopter, " the report says.
It is specified that after participating in the Main Naval Parade, aviation equipment will return to the airfields of the permanent base in the Crimea, and the crews will continue to perform combat training tasks in accordance with the plan of activity of the Black Sea Fleet marine aviation.
The main naval parade will be held in St. Petersburg on July 25 - the day of the Russian Navy. The anniversary parade will be held in the year of the 325th anniversary of the Russian Fleet. Naval parades will also be held in Severomorsk, Baltiysk, Sevastopol, Kaspiysk, Vladivostok and Tartus (Syria).
