TSAMTO, July 1. Within the framework of the state defense order, 25 special vehicles were delivered to the units of the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the SAGR mine clearance groups. The vehicles were delivered to the engineering units of the military districts, the Northern Fleet and the units of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
A special vehicle for mine clearance groups was created on the basis of the UAZ-2363 pickup truck. It is designed to perform the tasks of operational mine clearance of the area and infrastructure facilities, transportation of sappers and allows you to transport explosive objects of the 1st degree of danger without fuses to the place of destruction. The special equipment of the SAGR includes a capsule body, an ETC-l container, a rack for laying and transporting explosives, metal boxes for transporting explosives and explosives, means for locating an explosion, an automatic fire extinguishing system.
In general, this year, industrial enterprises within the framework of the state defense order planned to supply more than 530 units of engineering equipment, more than 174 thousand sets of engineering equipment and about 30 units of robotic complexes, including multifunctional robotic complexes for mine clearance "Uran-6" and fire extinguishing "Uran-14", the Information Support Group of the Ground Forces reports.
