He called the video "computer games", and questioned the effectiveness of the system, recalling that it has not yet received the conclusion of the commission of the US Congress and the Pentagon. A video posted on YouTube by the US Army showing possible scenarios for the use of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) shows a "strike" on the Russian Project 1164 Atlant cruiser (according to the NATO code — "Glory") and the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system.
He recalled that Russia has real weapons that Moscow can use in response. As an example, he cited the complex of automatic control of a massive retaliatory nuclear strike "Perimeter", which in the United States is called"Dead Hand". "This system was created in the event that the Americans will strike us suddenly, destroying Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the General Staff," Baranets explained.
He added that Moscow has a plan for the use of strategic nuclear forces, according to which "any country that commits an attack on Russia will be punished."
Earlier, the United States Army demonstrated the possibility of using an unmanned modification of the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) multiple launch rocket system. The corresponding tests took place on June 16 at the Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina.
