As reported Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, on May 28, 2021, the new anti-sabotage boat P-450 "Yunarmeets Sakhalin" project 21980 (code "Grachonok") became part of the Pacific Fleet. The ceremony of raising the Naval flag on the anti-sabotage boat "Yunarmeets Sakhalin", which took place in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in Kamchatka, was attended by the Commander of the Troops and forces in the North-East of Russia (OKVS), Vice Admiral Alexander Yuldashev.

The new boat became the third ship of the project "Grachonok", which entered the connection of the ships of the protection of the water area of the OKVS as part of the rearmament program, and the sixth in the Pacific Fleet.
From the bmpd side, we note that the anti-sabotage boat P-450 "Yunarmeets Sakhalin" (factory number 8007) of the project 21980 was built at JSC Vostochnaya Verf in Vladivostok, becoming the sixth boat of this type commissioned by the enterprise since 2013. The boat was laid down in 2019 and launched on 20 August 2020. It became the 20th boat of the project 21980 in the Russian Navy.
In total, 23 anti-sabotage boats of project 21980 have been ordered for the Russian Navy to date, of which 20 boats have been commissioned (ten were built at JSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky in Zelenodolsk, four - at JSC Vympel Shipbuilding Plant in Rybinsk, and six-at JSC Vostochnaya Verf in Vladivostok). Of these 20 boats, six are in the Black Sea and Pacific Fleets, five are in the Northern Fleet, two are in the Caspian Flotilla, and one is in the Baltic Fleet. Three more boats are being built at the Zelenodolsk plant. The developer of the project 21980 is JSC "Vympel Design Bureau".Four more boats of the project 21980 were built in 2019 at the Vympel Shipbuilding Plant JSC for the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation (Rosgvardiya).
