The company "Stankoprom", which is under the management of "RT-Capital" of the State Corporation Rostec, and the German manufacturer TRAWEMA GMBH signed an agreement on the localization of production of mobile turning and milling complexes that have no analogues in Russia.
The new lathes and milling machines are designed for machining large-sized components and parts directly on the site, without dismantling the elements. The mobile version allows you to use the equipment in any convenient place for the customer, reducing the cost and time for the execution of work.
Mobile machines can be used for final surface treatment or pipe maintenance in the metallurgy, energy and mining industries, as well as for ship repair work and in the nuclear industry. The first samples of the equipment are planned to be produced on the territory of the Russian Federation by the end of the year.
The agreement provides for the creation of a full production cycle-from design to production of finished products on the basis of the company "Vniiinstument", which is part of the holding"Stankoprom". TRAWEMA transfers the design documentation for the production of the main model range to VNIIINSTRUMENT, reserving the right to control the quality of the products produced.
The parties also agreed to develop the model range and conduct joint research and development work.
Commissioning, training of specialists, warranty and service maintenance, technical support in Russia and the CIS countries will be carried out by VNIIinstrument.
