The M1A2C (M1A2SEPv3) Abrams tank works perfectly at temperatures typical of Alaska, writes the American magazine Forbes, referring to the results of the test of the combat vehicle conducted by the US Army.
On the other hand, the publication calls the 74-ton M1A2C Abrams too heavy to transport. According to the magazine, this combat vehicle in Eastern Europe will face Russian tanks, which have an advantage over American tanks.
"Russian tanks are lighter than American ones. The T-90 has a mass of only 53 tons. This makes it easier to move on and around the battlefield, " writes Forbes.
The publication admits that the next version of M1A2C (M1A2SEPv3) Abrams may be even heavier than the current one.
In May, the 19FortyFive portal wrote that Russia is currently the "world tank king".
In April of the same year, the publication stated that the M1 Abrams is superior to the Soviet T-55, T-62 and even T-72 tanks.
